We are very pleased to announce that the R.C. Baker Foundation has made another generous $7,500 donation to The James Gauntt Memorial Award, aka, The Jimmy! The Foundation, based in Encinitas, California, has been a steadfast supporter of The Jimmy since the inception of the Award in 2009 bestowed upon the top graduating seniors majoring in English and Creative Writing at USC Dornsife College. Since 2011, the Foundation has contributed $60,000 to this Award.
On behalf of the faculty and students and the 58 recipients of The Jimmy to date, thank-you from the bottom of our hearts to the R.C. Baker Foundation and its Chair, Laurence Scott, for your exceedingly generous support.
