Fight Music – Part 3 of 3

I want a hat that says “If I’m smoking, please poke me in the
eye.” But people might just think it’s a joke. A more
realistic option would be a t-shirt that says, “If I’m
smoking, look me in the eye and shake your head.” Strangers
would go along with that. But these options would only work
in public, and I always relapse privately.

Lawrence 2004 – Part 1 of 3

The art studio of the Lawrence Williams estate, in a
secluded Northern California village. The studio,
separate from the estate, is at the end of a perfectly
tended lawn. A lit pathway connects the studio with the
Estate. However, only the Studio interior is ISeen by
the audience.

Moonlight shines through the many windows of the
Studio. Each of several “works in progress” are
concealed by a white sheet.

ï had an uncle who just loved these kind of movies. He was a
real song and dance man himself. Now, I wouldn’t compare him
to Fred Astaire or anything, but every few Sundays we would
all go see him at the community theatre. Except Dad. He
would stay home, and work in the yard. But every year Uncle
Chet would Send me new pair of roller Skates for
Christmas, and, you know what, I think he bought himself the
same pair. Larger size, of course but the same pink sparkly
roller skates, or whatever the style was that year. He was a
real Character. Are you an uncle, Mr. Allman?
