Growing up in Southern California has exposed Rami to different cultures that shaped the person he is today. Born to a single mother he learned to be attentive and caring. Rami loved the water and the outdoors growing up. His favorite times growing up were family movie nights and lots of popcorn. Rami did various sports growing up including basketball and soccer but did not find his passion until high school. During his high school years, Rami joined a swim team and a water polo team where he found himself proud to be part of.

Fast forward, a graduate of 2020 USC English department, Rami had the pleasure to be part of a community of writers at USC where he took pride in his work. Having touched on poetry during high school for pleasure, his love for poetry has expanded during his college years. Some of his work includes: Hardwood and Lumber.

He continues to enjoy writing, reading, swimming and running. Rami describes those activities as meditative. Rami also enjoys spending time with his family and especially his sister, his brother, and the family dog, Belle. Rami looks forward to his future.
